She tells them that Lite and Kyoga eagerly awaited their bonding day, but Kyoga was kidnapped by Karabi just before the ceremony. When Lite recounted the tale of the transpiring events, Karabi was villainized by him. This act causes Kyoga, after being possessed by the Goddess Asra, to place an everlasting curse on Lite, and she disappeared with Karabi’s corpse soon afterward. However, Lite lunged at her throat and killed her after being let go, fearing she she would kill him some time later. Although she intended to kill Lite, citing that she and Kyoga would never find peace with him around, she was ultimately stopped by Kyoga. When Lite stepped too close, Karabi reacted defensively and pinned him to the ground. Karabi agreed to meet Lite with Kyoga at the highest point in the Emerald Valley, where she harshly tells him to stay back and that they only came there to talk. He accused Karabi of kidnapping Kyoga, and carnage ensued. Lite, refusing to believe that his soon to be mate would run away on the day the Sun and Moon Kingdom come together to finally make peace, started the war between the Sun and Storm Kingdoms. While deemed responsible for Kyoga's abduction and supposedly starting a war between the Sun and Storm Kingdoms, she and the chosen leader of the Moon Kingdom, Kyoga, fell in love, and the two ran away. Karabi was chosen by Cansu to lead the Storm Kingdom. She was the last known leader of the Storm Kingdom before it fell. Karabi, or Karabi the Terrible, was an African lioness, and an ancient chosen leader of the Storm Kingdom.
